In the field of international cooperation the State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter – Kyrgyzpatent) has close ties with the World Intellectual PropertyOrganization (WIPO), whose members include 185 countries. Within the framework of intergovernmental and interagency agreements Kyrgyzpatent continues to actively develop cooperation with international organizations such as the European Patent Office (EPO), the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO), the Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), as well as other foreign intellectual property offices (IP) and IP departments of the CIS countries.
